FEE SCHEDULE

standard fee ranges may be adjusted to fit your current situation

 

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

  My standard fee for one 45 minute individual session ranges from $150.00 to $200.00, depending upon your current financial situation. In the present economic climate, during which so many are struggling to make ends meet, I will be willing to either adjust your fee, if necessary, below my standard range, or refer you to a trusted colleague whose fee you might better afford.

PSYCHOANALYSIS

  Psychoanalysis with Dr. Player requires two to four regularly scheduled 45 minute sessions per week. Psychoanalysis is the most intense and transformative form of individual therapy. The number of sessions per week can be built up over time. When you are willing and able to engage in this most powerful and impactful therapeutic modality, the fee for each session can be adjusted to make psychoanalysis financially feasible. In general, psychoanalysis works best for more intelligent and creative individuals.

COUPLE THERAPY

  My standard fee for one 60 minute couple's session ranges from $160.00 to $250.00, depending upon your situation. Again, in this current economic slowdown, I am willing to negotiate your fee, if necessary, below my standard range. If we cannot work something out, I will gladly refer you to a competent therapist whose services you might better afford.

GROUP THERAPY

  My standard fee for a weekly 90 minute group session ranges from $75.00 to $125.00. Again, if your current financial situation requires, your group fee may be adjusted. Not everyone will initially be ready for group therapy, but for those who are, it is an extremely potent and productive means of working on your capacity for stronger, less conflictual, and more intimate relationships.

ADJUSTED FEES

  If we cannot agree upon a fee that feels comfortable for both of us, I will gladly refer you to a well trained colleague whose fees may better fit your budget.

INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT

PPO REIMBURSEMENT - Yes

  With a PPO insurance policy you should receive partial reimbursement for fees paid to Dr. Player. You would pay Dr. Player's fees directly and in full at the time of treatment. You could then file for reimbursement from your insurance carrier.

HMO REIMBURSEMENT - No

  Dr. Player does not work with managed care. He is not on any HMO panel. Therefore, therapy with him would not be reimbursed by any HMO policy.

MEDICAID/MEDICARE - No

  Dr. Player does not participate with Medicare or Medicaid.
